So far so good! Flew Virgin America. LOVE that airline. Staying at a posh hotel called the Keating. Very “modern.” Concrete floor. Open floor plan. Five stories above street level. And its a reasonable walk to the convention center. Only problem is I can hear all the revelers. I will be awake very, very late.
Met up with my chums Matt Haley, who’s working on a film, and Mark Texiera, who has a new book out, appropriately titled the Art of Mark Texiera.
Also ran into Joel Gomez of Wildstorm. Super talented artist. We’ll both be at the Wildstorm booth Saturday doing a signing from 4 to 5.
